Our work consists of but is not limited to portrait photography. No matter how intimate or distant, the composition of portrait photography is like no other in vividly capturing the emotions of the subject. This work is by one of our talented photographers, Katherine Ikegwuonu.

Powerful photographs that can tell stories without utilizing language gave a whole new meaning to journalisms. Here is a photo captured by our talented co-editor, Alex Gaspar.

Paintings/

fine art/ illustrations

Paintings, illustrations, drawings and other such forms of physical fine arts draw attention to the impeccable ability of humans to manipulate materials through a varying array of medias to create stunning pieces of work that add that much more beauty to our lives. The painting is by our very own Moesha Clarke who's work you can find in the link bellow!

Travel Journalism

The ability to transport someone from the comfort of their homes to the streets of a foreign land using words and photographs is a talent worth sharing and spreading. We aspire for our magazine to be a place where individuals can open up their experiences so others can vicariously live through them and to shine a light on all other the place's people consider a home that may not be our beloved Toronto. Photo taken by Sameen Chaudhry, our Editor in Chief.

ABOUT L'FAFA

A magazine inspired by Torontos creative community

L’fafa is a bi- annual publication centred around art, culture and fashion, founded by young creatives with the desire to connect Torontos growing and diverse creative community with an artistic platform to showcase their talents. The magazine features work from various creative fields highlighting Torontos unique cultural scene through a blend of high fashion, photography, and literature. Like the tabula rasa, L’fafa will be a blank canvas for contributors to be able lay out their work for the world. We are creating a new space in the midst of an already vast body of information by setting our own narratives and challenging cultural norms in the creative industry.
